The Road

There is a road
Long and wide
That reaches the sky
I don’t know where it goes
There is a road
That twists and turns
Curiosity burns
I wonder where it goes
Every night I watch the moon light up the road
None dared to tread and why, no one is sure
So I walk on the path for answers which were never questioned before
I walk to see if I could find my way home
I am on the road
That is long and wide
And I go where I want to go
